#BeautyTipTuesday: Simple Face Spritzes For Trouble Skin!

Lets face it: everyone has skin problems. While clean eating and clean products help a lot, there always seems to be something going on with your skin. Thankfully there are simple, natural solutions to just about every skin ailment around. Face spritzes present an effortless fix for some of the most common issues such as acne, dry skin, and redness. We’ve covered the wonderful benefits of rosewater spray, but here are a few more to add to your arsenal.

What You’ll Need

1 16 oz bottle (with a wide enough brim to fit the cucumbers)

1/2 cucumber

6oz water

6oz aloe vera juice

How It Works

Cucumber has many benefits for the skin: it can remove excess moisture, reduce redness and the appearance of pores. Aloe vera has major skin healing properties. Mixing cucumber and aloe vera creates the ultimate skin healing product. Place the cucumber slices in a bottle first, followed by the water and aloe vera to ensure there are no spills. Let the mixture sit overnight, and keep in the refrigerator for preservation.

What You’ll Need

1 16 oz bottle

1 bag of green tea

10-20 drops of tea tree oil

14 oz of water

How It Works

Tea tree oil is a powerful fighter of inflammation, whether it be acne, a cold sore, or even eczema. Green tea helps with skin elasticity and also helps to dilute the less desirable qualities of tea tree oil, such as drying. Bring the water to a boil and let the green tea bag steep for about 10 minutes. Transfer the tea into your bottle minus the bag, then add in your tea tree drops.

What You’ll Need

1 16 oz spray bottle

1 shot of apple cider vinegar

5-10 drops of jojoba oil

10 oz of water

How It Works

Apple cider vinegar is one of nature’s most popular astringents. It has phenomenal acne-fighting properties and it can also help balance oily skin. If you have acne  you most likely have scars, and that’s where jojoba oil comes in. This oil is closest to the natural oils our skin produces so it won’t clog pores. Jojoba oil is great for treating scarring as well as dermatitis and wrinkles.
