as if being a kid wasn’t hard as it is…
being a kid is very weird. you’re just born into these lives you have no control over and you have people telling you what to do. in some respects, youth may be easier…but it’s also very tough. trying to figure out who you are and make sense of the world around you.
then you have douchebags making fun of you…for whatever reason it may be (i always got made fun of for my no-name sneakers 
). i watched this HBO DOC about KIDS WITH TOURETTES and it made me very sad and happy. sad about stupid people who torture these kids and happy that some of these kids are very positive about a hard situation.
i get it, TOURETTES is weird and slightly funny…and what can you expect, we’re human and odd things make us laugh. like how sometimes we may stare in public places when we see things that we’re not used to, mostly due to curiosity. how about we take a good look (laugh to ourselves if we feel the need) and move on.
muse: DEPECHE MODE
when i was a little lad and my older, cooler sister was in highschool i wanted to be just like her. she made it easy by liking cool things like denim jackets, hypercolor and DEPECHE MODE. their name translates into “fast fashion”, yet they’ve stayed in style for decades now. i saw them perform at MSG in 06 and it was a brilliant show….DAVID GAHAN (lead singer) murdered it. here are a couple of classics you should know about if you don’t already

i’m really sorry, but this kid gives me the heebie jeebies. i know all the details are there for cute and i feel bad saying it, but it’s borderline nightmare inducing to me. its like her eyes and the song are hypnotizing me to join a cult. eeek, so sorry.

this show is a must. THE COOL KIDS rocked it and Q TIP killed it. he is such a legend. please see it if it comes to a city near you!
