i couldn’t have been more excited to be shooting MISS FAITH EVANS. we had met a couple years ago and she remembered me (she said her daughter CHYNA remembered me also, and told her about my clothing line! i was so excited to hear that).
Faith seriously has one of the most beautiful faces i have ever seen, just amazing. her features are perfectly in synch. aside from that – she was a breeze to work with and i can’t wait until i can show you guys the video

although, i was feeling better that day…i shouldn’t have gone out. SANTOS was packed more than normal. wasn’t sure if it was because the weather had warmed up a bit or maybe everyone heard that JAY-Z and DIDDY were in the building. must be the latter, because there was a sea of motionless onlookers who stared obsessively at the DJ booth. didn’t snap too many pictures because i took refuge in a stairwell. happy birthday to DJ SURE SHOT who came out with miss RADIO ROSE!

my boy CHUCK INGLISH of THE COOL KIDS has been telling me about this video since last year. ever since then i’ve been feenin’ like Jodeci to see it. they shot it in the summer and took their time with it. now…i present to you a masterpiece! it was well worth the wait!!!

early sunday morning i get a call that i need to be on a plane to LA LA land for sunday afternoon to shoot on monday. i hurried so quick, i didn’t even get to tell anyone.
although i’d rather be in bed resting because i feel like JEFF GOLDBLUM in “THE FLY” (see below), i have to say i am excited. i haven’t been to LA since 2004, geez. i’ll tell you you guys more about the shoot later! i trust you all had a nice weekend. any news?

i’ve been infected with the black plague or influenza
sorry for my delays in posting, i’ve been deadly sick for a few days now with the flu. my joints are achy and my body feels like it’s 200 years old, i’m coughing like an old smoker, i feel dizzy and nauseous, and i can’t keep anything i eat down 
puking is the worst, seriously. i don’t condone bulimia, but if you voluntarily vomit on a daily basis – congrats to you. on the rare occasion that i have to, i usually end up crying. shoutout to all my peoples who are suffering from this age-old plague, i (literally) feel your pain. also to ELLE, who is also suffering.

tuesday night, after a long day of celebrations for our new PRESIDENT OBAMA…HOOD BY AIR released their CLASSICS line at the OAK SHOWROOM. the line featured everyday pieces with a slight touch of couture. it’s something a hood dude can pull off and still maintain his street credibilty with. the place was filled with characters and fashionable people doing their own thang.
i’m so proud of SHAYNE and RAUL, they’re extremely talented and i see them taking it to the next level!

SKY invited me to a brunch that PEPSI was holding at CAFE SELECT where there would be free food and live coverage of the INAUGURATION! special thanks to COLTRANE CURTIS and LISA CHU
