muse: CLAYTON PATTERSON – Photographer and NYC Legend!
dude has been photographing and videotaping the downtown scene before it became plagued with chain stores and high rise condominiums. before it was safe to have lunch or walk your doggy in THOMPKINS SQUARE PARK, because the homeless and junkies lived there in tents.
the NYC we all know and love wasn’t always so clean and safe as we know it today (although, due to the economy, i have a feeling things are about to get ugly all over again). there was something so pure and beautiful about that time, i’m addicted.
anyways, check out the trailer for the documentary about him: CAPTURED. done by my friends BEN and DAN. the film is brilliant.

. A-RON and ACE BOON KUNLE are heavy hitters in these parts, and their combining of forces will be murderous.
dirty punk kids, crispy streetwear peeps, hipster kate moss girls and lengendary new yorkers crowded in the club to listen to sounds of WU-TANG and BLAG FLAG! and well, opposites attract!

my dear, sweet, lovely cousin OSCAR. words cannot explain how much i love this guy. we met in like 2001 and have been tighter than an Ed Hardy t shirt. he started dressing “90′s” way before anyone else was, years and years ago. when it wasn’t cool and people made little side jokes when they saw him. anyways, O is a style icon and a new york city legend!
the other day ELLE is scanning through my Polaroid collection and says “Oscar is your muse. It’s cute”. i realized…he is!

fashion week | HOOD BY AIR & HBA CLASSICS FW09
my family SHAYNE and RAUL are seriously ripping the fashion game to shreds. take a hood sensibility paired with an understanding of being fashion forward and you have HOOD BY AIR! they’re more fashion side is HOOD BY AIR, but now they released a line of casual pieces called HBA CLASSICS!
last night they debuted their SS09 line at SANTOS and it was an event not to be missed.
