sunday, i met up with my homie LUCIA and FATIMA who was visiting from LONDON. we stopped in to BURBERRY to find these boots i’ve been day dreaming about. i rarely fall in love with a piece, but when i do…i hunt it down and make it mines! that’s right, i said “MINES”!
anyways, they were pricey BUT i got a really good deal and had to take them. (i just won’t eat for two weeks!)

first of all, i need to say this…MAX is one of the most kind-hearted people i know. seriously…and in his line of work that’s rare! OSCAR was supposed to be my date, but couldn’t make it. i asked ELLE to be my beard(ed lady) for the evening and she agreed!
*we couldn’t resist the backdrop art, so we decided to get a photo as a gift to our homie MAX!
*the wristbands gave us VIP entry into a cozy backroom where champagne was flowing like a recession…

this reminds me of back in the day when i was a young girl and i was in love with my brother’s best friend BRIAN ANDERSON. for a birthday he had given me this MADONNA casette (pre-CD, kiddoes) and i was smitten. it was tucked simply into a cigar box that i would cherish for years. little did he know, my crush on him would turn me into a vegetarian skateboarder (like he was at the time) — it lasted 12 years. oh what young love will do
