life: I’M AIMING TO DRINK 6 LITERS OF WATER A DAY…

why you ask? well, i had a thought. my skin is always ashy, my lips are always ashy…what must my insides be like? they’re probably desperate for water. i drink caffeine and occasional champagne (which are diuretics – in other words, they suck the water out of you) which doesn’t help my already dry skin…

SO, i’m making a pact…with myself…to drink 6 liters of water a day. 2 of these bad boys…

    too much is not good either. 2-3 liters/ day is definitely enough. have you never heard of water intoxication?

    girl, you’re gonna be peeing ALL DAY!! haha! i’ve tried 2 liters a day before and it was non stop bathroom breaks. lmao!!

    I have to be honest when I first read tha subject title, I thought to myself is vashtie smokin weed lol. Because I’ve known ppl that were smokin and to pass a drug test they would drink large amounts of water a day or two before…..but anywho, yeah your skin looks pretty good from my angle. But we all should drink more water….so lets toast to pretty skin(and i’m holdin a diet dr.pepper lol)!!!!!!!!! peace vash

    Good for you. A friend of mind just told me the other her daughter was dehydrated when she went to the doctors and they said that the first sign is ashy skin and dry lips. Of course the cold weather also plays a part in that too.

    you can get edema in your brain if you drink a few liters really quick.
    you shouldn’t even drink that much though cause it messes up your electrolytes.
    and don’t worry about your insights, like London said, ashy skin is one of the 1. signs.
    oh and btw we all need to stop drinkin bottled water, it takes 3000 times more energy to produce a liter of bottled water than a liter of tap water. that’s ridiculous.

    I’m not fairing well with the weather right now and I’m getting hit by the ash too. Maybe I should up my water intake while I search or the perfect moisturizer.

    BECAREFUL!! drinking too much water will drain your vitamins and the nutriments that you need!. 2 litter should be the max BUT it needs to be an every day job not just now because you’re drained. And your ashy skin might not even be because of water, it could be a lack of Vitamin A or even C both contributes to your skin, tone, health etc. Google and read on that before you drown yourself :) .

    try not using plastic bottles.. not only is plastic made with bad toxins but its expensive and hard to recycle..

    p.s…. the worlds largest landfill is in the pacific ocean..stretching between California to Japan. and guess what, its filled with plastic =(

    My goodness, is 6 liters the suggested daily intake? I don’t know if we need THAT much per day. My pee is usually dark yellow, I know that’s not good, I need to up my intake too.

    Besides the water, you should try Virgin Olive Oil, it works great as a moisturizer after bathing and keeps the ash away. It doesn’t leave a smell or leave your skin oily like you would think.

    Dude, make sure you are drinking alkaline water! That Poland Springs water has a ph level of 5. This means that water will contribute to making your body acidic. Which is not good!

    I’m sure you’re just ashy because it’s winter?? or is this a year round problem?

    your skin and lips obviously dry out much faster in the winter cuz of the cold air but it doesnt mean you’re dehydrated at all.

    6 litres is a bit much. 6-8 glasses of water is enough
