on a cold and rainy December day in NEW YORK CITY, a small and eclectic group of people gathered together to take part in a photoshoot for the NIKE DESTROYER PROJECT.
the shoot highlights this group as the “new school” of folks who contribute to the ever-changing landscape of NEW YORK, represented by each of them wearing the special edition black DESTROYER VARSITY (not sold):

(note: i’m actually braiding RICKY’S hair. when DEE & RICKY arrived on set, RICKY asked me to braid his hair for the photo. when KAI peeped it, he asked that we do it for the actual photo)
(i decided on “NY STATE OF MIND” because it’s so old NEW YORK…gritty, dark and rough around the edges. its the NEW YORK i like to remember).
