6 years ago, OSCAR and I started 1992 THE PARTY. Without an expectation of where it would go or how it would be received, we set out with the only goal – to provide an inviting space where all kinds of people could come together and have fun while listening to the sounds of the late 80′s and early 90′s. In creating something organic and from our hearts, the party was beyond well-received. It accumulated a cult following, took us overseas for Paris and Amsterdam dates and landed us press in The New York Times, Trace, Paper Magazine, i-D Magazine and more!
6 years later, we are still going strong and I couldn’t be more proud! Check out the photos!!!

Damn Vash, why don’t you tell me whenever you’re doing parties anymore? Damn, you got my Skytel number, hit me on my beeper..hit me on my beeper. Regardless I couldn’t make it out anyway, I was at the Barclay Center red carpet event. Ok, not really, I ended up eating a whole pizza pie, drinking a 22 of coconut manischewitz, and fell asleep. smdh. But damn, my wifey Sabel Boolino was looking tasty as some halal food at 4am.
