International model and stylist Aleali May has been around for a few years. She’s worked with Don C and Virgil Abloh at his RSVP store in Chicago, where the Los Angeles native attended Columbia College. Recently you may have seen her on Instagram ripping the streets during fashion week or on Kyra TV men’s fashion show PAQ. Aleali fell in love with high top sneakers after her Uncle G gifted her with a pair of Jordan 7s.
Aleali became the second female to design a pair of Jordans and the first to design a unisex pair when she debuted the Jordan 1 Shadow. She also designed an Air Jordan 1 and 10 with WNBA player Maya Moore and she’s back with another Jordan collaboration: The Millennial Pink Womens Air Jordan 6 x Aleali May. The Air Jordan 6 debuted in 1991 as Michael won his first championship. However, this is far from Mays first time around since this is her third collaboration with the Jordan Brand. Her latest work includes rust pink nubuck leather and matching laces with bright crimson for the accents. Millennial Pink resonates with many “25 and under” as the color has been frequently used within different fashion brands like Yeezy and even Apple with the rose gold iPhone.
If you want to get your hands on The Millennial Pink 6s, your best bet is to go to Stockx where the smallest size is going for $380 and the largest size is at $900. Now remember this is a womens shoe and there are male sneakerheads pressed for this drop which originally made its way on March 13th 2019 for retail at $190. May picked up right where Vashtie left off with her Air Jordan 2s and we’re beyond excited to see what else Aleali is cooking up.
