Allan Kingdom, Canadian original and Minnesota raised artist, has been on the scene for a while with his super music crew, The Stand4rd. But his first major breakthrough was his surprise performance of “All Day” with Kanye West at the BRIT Awards in 2015, taking the unreleased single at the time to new heights with his bridge.

With inspiration stemming from Pharrell, Kid Cudi and Kanye, Allan Kingdom has claimed his spot in the music industry with his proven range in genre and music flow in his music. Just a year ago, Allan Kingdom released his project, Northern Lights, which did well with songs like “Fables” featuring Chronixx and “Renovate” featuring D.R.A.M. This year, he’s collaborated with artists showing off his flexibility in hip-hop with different sounds in music with tracks like “You Know” with Flume and Rae-Kwon and “Tomorrow” with No Wyld.

Finding the perfect opportunity to put on for his hometown, Allan Kingdom took the nearly bassless Lil’ Yachty track “Minnesota” and turned it into a trap banger, making references to Prince and making it clear that he does it for the culture.
