When NY1 reached out I was elated. A couple years ago I had compiled a dream list of notable features that I dreamed of being apart of, and NY1 was right up there. Being a transplant who has put in a decade of her time I was starting to feel like an honorary New Yorker, but after THE NEW YORK TIMES article and the beginning of this NY1 ONE on ONE interview with Budd Mishkin – you won’t be able to tell me nothing!

Last weekend I had the opportunity to direct a new artist by the name of ANTHEM. It was for a track called “GOD OF JOY” and I think you guys will dig it…can’t wait to share the video with you!

*It was a last minute call to my DP, WESLEY CLOUDEN, who showed up with his baby boy LESLIE strapped to his back. It was so unexpected, but added a nice layer to the shoot.

Peep the behind the scenes photos of my CONCRETE LOOP PHOTOSHOOT with TAJ WASHINGTON! EIKNARF was close by as he was also shooting a piece on me as well. It was super cold outside and I was (as always) in my 90′s hooker kit. SWEET & VICIOUS bar was kind enough to let us do makeup and changes inside. Here’s how it looked…
