life: SOBE SUMMER FRIDAYS – MISSHAPES – IL BAGGATO – RUNWAY SHOW (PEGLEG and more…)
so, after nearly 2 weeks of being sick and my doctor instructing me to “rest”…i left my cave to support my friends at PEGLEG with their runway show at SOBE and attempt to eat some free italian food from IL BAGGATO. stomach flu had me eating bread and potatoes…but, i still managed to lose 4 pounds! hmmm. i should bottle the stomach flu and sell it!

life: SOBE SUMMER FRIDAYS – miniature golf, food by HABANA CAFE, and more!
for the past week i’ve been battling a stomach flu which has given me a loss of appetite, nausea, and fatigue. it’s been no bueno, can you guys relate? anyways, FRIDAY i was forced out of my cave by the gang for free food and miniature golf at the SOBE FRIDAY PARTY. i left early to go home and sleep.
*as a non-sports person, playing anything close to athletic with other athletic people is annoying. look at the coach behind me. good grief…it’s miniature golf!

a while back, my friend SKY asked me to blog for RIOTTT.COM. it was fun but, about a year ago I decided to leave to focus on my own site. I hesitantly bought VASHTIE.COM after having fellow artist friends urge me to secure my name.
I started blogging here in the mean-time while I built the site that would be my portfolio. I took my lazy taurus time and years later…VASHTIE.COM is fully loaded and ready to go….thursday

on a cool JULY day, i met up with the homie WASALU aka LUPE at KATZ’s (New York’s Famous Delicatessen). it was a perfect day for hanging with a good friend in an iconic establishment…
*he made the “KATZ’S WALL OF FAME” wall! that’s like getting a key to the city, although i don’t know what receiving a key to the city really entails.

life: SOBE SUMMER FRIDAYS
recently, COLTRANE CURTIS/ EPIPHANY sent me a gold-plated card that allows me admission into the SOBE SUMMER FRIDAYS…a friday party that will happen all summer. starting at 2pm in the afternoon, the parties include lots of FREE STUFF!!!: food from fancy places, cocktails, spa services (manicure, pedicure, massage), DJ’ed sets by star DJ’s.
anyways, ME, YOUNG SCOOZLE and GREG cruised over and had a great time…

*the SOBE lizard was murdering the dancefloor, no joke. he went from voguing to my drink and my 2 step to crumping.
*they re-created a drive-in and had cars lined up to watch a SPIKE LEE joint.

yes, you heard me…RAKIM and BOBBY BROWN. i tucked myself in my coffin and died happily last night! for those of you who may not know, DJ CASSIDY is a legendary DJ and every year he throws a birthday soiree that i’ve nicknamed, “THE HARDEST PARTY IN NEW YORK CITY TO GET INTO”. seriously. i pride myself on being a swindler who can hustle her way into any door…but, this party? no way jose!
