On Earth Day, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, starring Oprah Winfrey, finally debuted on HBO. The movie is emotional as the journey is through a very racist time in America. Check out a quick recap of the star studded event here.

2) New Official X-Men Movie Release Dates Are In!

Over the weekend, more solid dates for X-Men movies have been released. All being released next year, we should expect New Mutants April 13, Deadpool 2 June 1st and, lastly, Dark Phoenix is expected November 2nd. Why is all of this exciting? Well, who wouldn’t want to see some new mutants? Deadpool is exciting, period. And we haven’t heard much about Jean Grey aka Phoenix aka Professor X’s protege ask the most bad ass X-Men of them! My only question is, does this mean that Hugh Jackman may have lied to us about being finished with his Wolverine ways? I guess we’ll have to wait and see!

3) Lupita x Rihanna possible movie collab?

Last week, a picture of Lupita Nyong’o and Rihanna surfaced on the internet and the world went crazy. With the creativity of Twitter came a whole plot and character outline just from the picture that was posted. Well, Lupita shared her thoughts that, “she’s down” for a joint movie with her as the smart assistant of Rihanna the scammer. Rihanna replies, “I’m in pit’z” and “Issa possibility,” with Issa Rae not straying to far behind. So, who do we run to to push this!? We’re. Here. For. It!

4) ‘Bill Nye Saves The World’ and ‘Girlboss’ premieres on Netflix

Netflix has been on the roll dropping shows that has been keeping us hooked. This weekend, they released two shows we’ve been keeping an eye on. While Girlboss shows you the struggles of a tough cookie trying to make a living for herself, Bill Nye Saves The World does what he always does, teaches you about science is his own cool way. On the first episode, dedicated to Earth Day, Bill Nye recruited special guest, Desiigner, for a skit with Karlie Kross about climate change. Desiigner didn’t seem so happy that black jelly beans are the only way to kill his cravings of the things he really wanted. Watch the clip above!

5) Frank Ocean Drops Two Songs in One Weekend

With a steady pattern of dropping a song once every 3 weeks via ‘Blonded Radio’, Frank Ocean switched it up a little this week. Saturday, he shared his airy and somewhat Lonny Breaux reminiscent single, “Lens” on episode 4 of the show. He also gave some variation of the song, dropping an immediate remix with Travis Scott– who was announced to be touring with Kendrick Lamar in August– which was very fitting for the mood of the song.

Just this morning, Frank dropped episode 5 of ‘Blonded Radio’, ending it with a remix of “Slide On Me” from one of his debuted projects Endless featuring Young Thug.

When “Biking” premiered, producer Melo-X mentioned via Twitter he was excited for Frank to drop their collaborative projects. Maybe that means we will continuously get drops from Frank every 3 weeks. Although unclear what he is doing, there will be no complaining with Frank staying present and active enough to feed our brains. Listen to “Lens” below as we wait for “Slide on Me (Remix)” to officially come out as a single.
