It’s a known fact that Kali Uchis‘s latest album Isolation is everything we wanted and more. The album that consisted of 15 tracks, includes gems like “Your Teeth in My Neck”, “Dead to Me”, and flawless visuals for singles like “After The Storm“. “Nuestro Planeta“, and “Tyrant“. As you can tell from the songstress’s debut album, Kali is all about having range and keeping her listeners on their toes with her captivating sound.
Recently the songstress released a visual entitled “Get Up” as in “Gotta Get Up”(interlude) , which is the 10th track off of her album. Not only do we see the singer look at herself through a casket, but we also see her embrace the storm (literally and figuratively), pick herself up, embrace isolation, and then get back up from it. The visual also features “Body Language”(intro) where Kali allows us to see her go from being isolated to allowing everyone to get a little bit more close and personal, ready to take on everything and anything that gives her life.
