Amidst the current chaos within the country (and with a fresh haircut), Kodak Black drops the highly anticipated track “Tunnel Vision” alongside a controversial music video.
Unlike his previous music videos, Kodak takes a political approach in visually depicting the single. He parallels the injustices and inequalities apparent in the prison system with the current presidential campaign, showcasing the metaphorical war waged against people of color. There is nothing subliminal or abstract about the message being conveyed throughout the visual. With burning crosses, a hanging KKK member, and an intense dual between a black man and confederate flag boasting white man, Kodak exposes the palpable racial crisis evident in the times.
Contrary to his characteristically street image, Kodak takes a stand and utilizes his power by releasing a politically charged track and further stressing the importance of exercising our first amendment right.
We look forward to more from the young bull and eagerly await more projects soon!
