Even with a baby approaching the world at any moment, Cardi B‘s work ethic is undeniably amazing and commendable. Not only did her first album Invasion of Privacy consist of chart topping hits, but she also gave amazing performances at Coachella, has been working on her collaborative fashion line with Fashion Nova, and recently dropped not one but three visuals that are giving us all types of life:
Cardi B’s album has been in conversation since the day it dropped on April 5th and fortunately for us she graced us with two different visuals for two distinct singles off of her project. The first visual she released after her project dropped was “Be Careful”, which is definitely a favorite by the public. The single of course samples the iconic Lauryn Hill’s “Ex Factor” from her highly acclaimed album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. The visual which confronts Cardi on both sides of marriage and death is shot by director and photographer Jora Frantzis.
The next video Cardi B released off the album dropped just days ago for her single “I Like It” featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin.
The song takes on one of the most unique productions off the album for sure and is definitely another favorite off the project. In this visual directed by Eif Rivera, we get to see Cardi B put a twist Pete Rodriguez’s “I Like It Like That (A Mi Me Gusta Asi)”. It’s beautiful to see her, Bad Bunny, and J Balvin come together to make magic with a Latin flavor to it and make it dope. The video is currently the #2 trend on Youtube with almost 19 million views in only 2 days.
Last week, Jennifer Lopez teamed up with Cardi B and DJ Khaled to give us slay and “Dinero.”
The video is shot in black and white and takes a peek at the two Bronx divas living lavish and throwing dollars to the sky. Its dope to see a visual like this and see how much these two major Latinas have taken over in so many ways. The visual is upbeat, is inspiring, and will definitely be a collaboration that will never fall short of notice.
Just moments ago, Maroon 5 dropped a visual for “Girls Like You” featuring the very talented Cardi B. The inspiring visual dedicates itself to showing all are versions of women are amazingly unique in their own way.
The video features a star-studded cast of women including Mary J. Blige, Ellen, Jennifer Lopez, Tiffany Haddish, Sarah Silverman, Camila Cabello, Ashley Graham, Millie Bobby Brown, and the star herself Cardi B who gives us bars to perfectly compliment the band’s catchy and melodic chorus.
So what can we take away from these recent visuals starring Cardi B? Well first, she’s never not working rather she’s pregnant or not, secondly she’s an artist of range and reliability, and lastly she’s a woman who’s career is taking off with no signs of slowing down.
