after, the BATTLE FOR THE CROWN EVENT i ran home to “spruce up”…which means, i splashed water on my tired face and drank a double espresso from my favorite cafe TARALUCCI AND VINO. it wasn’t easy on the tastebuds, but i hoped it would keep me going since i’d have to be at SANTOS for THE OPEN PARTY in 10 minutes and by the time i would be done — i would have officially been up for 23 hours straight.

*ESTELLE!!! i met her in 2003, when i was assistant-styling for this music video for KAYA (an english artist) feat. THE CLIPSE. she happened to be in the hotel that day and we just gabbed about nothing. a year later we re-meet in LONDON where she was a mega-star. fast forward to today, she’s still as humble and sweet as the first time i met her!
