dag, it’s FEBRUARY already?! time is seriously flying. anyways, we partied it up at SANTOS again on FRIDAY night. if you don’t know, the OPEN party is Q TIP, ME and RICH…and it might be the best thing to happen to NYC since 1992 
i met up with my good friend LIL’ PENNY – that’s right, you may remember him from the NIKE commercials back in the day. see below…

*OSCAR brought these fake comp tickets to my attention that were given to GABBY our cashier. when they were given to her she was like “what is this”. dude was like, “the door guy gave this to me”. she’s like, “this are NOT the tickets we use”. nice try mang.
*TRACY MORGAN!!! you have no idea how much i love him. he is the cats pajamas. seriously. right before we all rolled out to SANTOS i made everyone watch some of his stand-up on youtube. i didn’t want to meet him because you know when you meet people you look up to, you don’t want them to say something wack and let you down (we’re all human and no one is perfect, which is why i always suggest not idolizing people). anyways, he was so nice.

although, i was feeling better that day…i shouldn’t have gone out. SANTOS was packed more than normal. wasn’t sure if it was because the weather had warmed up a bit or maybe everyone heard that JAY-Z and DIDDY were in the building. must be the latter, because there was a sea of motionless onlookers who stared obsessively at the DJ booth. didn’t snap too many pictures because i took refuge in a stairwell. happy birthday to DJ SURE SHOT who came out with miss RADIO ROSE!

TRACY MORGAN came through and i watched him walk past me. i didn’t say a word. i felt like a kid watching SANTA CLAUS walk past me. i’m so sad i didn’t say a word to him. he’s one of the funniest people ever!!!

every friday night in NYC at SANTOS PARTY HOUSE, it goes down. by “it” i mean, the best thing to happen to new york city (since 1992). finally a place to go on the weekends for locals (and visitors). NO DRESS CODE, NO VIP, NO BOTTLE SERVICE…basically, no wackness.
