Who remembers when Burberry enlisted legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell and rising star Jourdan Dunn for their spring/summer 2015 colorful campaign?
The iconic shoot followed Cara Delevinge and Kate Moss’s joint campaign for the My Burberry fragrance earlier that year. Both British talents were celebrated for their beauty and footprint in the fashion industry, riding the gap between the OG’s and the newbies.
The duo was shot by the brand’s favorite photographer Mario Testino who was also the chief creative for the campaign. The looks included colorful trench coats for the spring.
“Naomi and Jourdan – two great British icons, two strong, beautiful women and the two perfect faces for our new campaign. It is, as always, real privilege to work with them,” said Christopher Bailey, CEO and Creative Director of Burberry.
Campbell and Dunn are both from London making them the perfect fit for the history of the brand. Shoutout to Burberry for using home-grown talent and two iconic women of color, old and new.
