Haitian filmmaker Raoul Peck has created a fascinating, detailed look at one of the most progressive and lyrical minds of the last century. Peck has adapted James Baldwin’s unfinished final novel, Remember This House, into a powerful documentary of the black American experience in the U.S.A..
Baldwin’s posthumous voice is served by Samuel L. Jackson, in this cinematic work on the subject of race and racism in America.. The film was initially released in 2016, but will see a wider release on February 3.
