This week we are showcasing singer and songwriter Victoria Monét.

For those who are unfamiliar, Monét is a close friend to Ariana Grande and has been actively collaborating on every single Grande album thus far. “Thank U, Next”, was the first song Victoria’s co-written that went number one, but her discography goes far beyond the pop singer. This songstress has co-written records for Meek Mill, Diddy, T.I., and Nas. Some hits of her include hits of her own including “Ready” and “New Love”. Monét has been behind the scenes of some of your favorite albums and is just recently collecting the praise she deserves.
Overall, her contributions within the music industry have prepared her for a promising solo-career, and she’s only scratched the surface. Already owning all writing credits for her albums in her catalog, she’s a much-needed force in R&B. Proving that having slick pen game, and originality is not a lost art. She makes a smooth transition between writing and performing on a stage; we are excited for the world to witness the rise of Victoria and anticipate nothing but greatness.
Check out Victoria and Ariana’s new single/music video Monopoly below. With surprise cameo from Donté Colley, the Toronto native you’ve probably seen on your timeline motivating you with his dance moves and moving emojis.
