Coachella and The Governor’s Ball: Lineups to prep your pockets for

Although it’s the beginning of the year, it’s that time that we prep you for some must-see lineups as well as prepare you to secure your bags this year.Recently two lineups that we annually anticipate were announced for Coachella and The Governor’s Ball.

Coachella, which is one of the highest grossing festivals every year if not THE highest grossing festival, announced that their 2018 lineup would include greatness such as Beyonce, Eminem, and The Weeknd as the headliners at the Indio,CA based event. Other great artists that are our faves  who are also set to perform include Tyler The Creator, Cardi B, Brockhampton, Kamiayah, Vince Staples,  Miguel, SZA, King Krule, Kelela, Kali Uchis, and Daniel Caesar. It doesn’t stop there though, they also have Princess Nokia set to perform, SuperDuperKyle, Flatbush Zombies, Skip Marley, Belly, Post Malone, Noname, 6lack, Tank and The Bangas (a New Orleans group everyone should check out via Tiny Desk), Lion Babe, and so many more. The festival will go on between two different weekends. The beginning of the festivities will last through April 13th and 15th. The second weekend will last from April 20th through the 22nd. Each pass for each weekend is $429, or if you want to do the shuttle/ticket combo, its $509. Even though this may seem pricey to some, there is actually a light at the end of the tunnel. Coachella provides a payment plan for the ticket so if you’re balling on a budget, definitely make that move to the site for more info. If you’re not able to make it, there’s still some slight hop in being able to catch the streaming of it n Youtube (potentially) like last year. There’s also an app (Apple and Android friendly)you can access during Coachella to help you navigate and discover over the 100 acts that’ll be taking stage.

Last but definitely not least, The Governor’s Ball takes place from June 1st through June 3rd and includes one heavy of a line up. The lineup includes N.E.R.D, Eminem, Jack White, Jay Electronica, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Vic Mensa, Amine (who you can also catch performing at Coachella), Goldlink, DRAM,Silk City, 2Chainz, A$AP Twelvyy, Kali Uchis and Kelela again, and the list goes on. The event takes place in New York City, does have a mobile guide , the only tickets not sold out yet are the tickets that $305 (plus fees)for 3 days . For more info on how to prepare, head here.
