A Complete Recap of Last Night’s Golden Globes

gg1

From the fashions to the awards to the speeches, last night’s 74th Golden Globes Awards ceremony was the place to be.  Typically this award show isn’t the most entertaining but with Jimmy Fallon hosting, epic speeches from the always relatable Emma Stone Claire Foy’s shoutout to Queen Elizabeth and promotion for female power, and most importantly Donald Glover’s shoutout to Migos (not even for being apart of Atlanta but for making “Bad and Boujee”), it was a ceremony to remember.

Aside from Glover taking home their award for best television series, other stars that stood out last night include the very stunning/natural glow KWEEN Tracee Ellis Ross who took home the award for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series — Musical or Comedy” and the first black woman to receive the award within this category since Debbie Allen’s win from 35 years ago , Viola Davis’s win for Fences, and Meryl Streep’s empathetic, highly subliminal, inclusive speech after receiving the “Lifetime Achievement Award”. Check out all the winners below from last night as well as two of the most important speeches from Glover and Streep below.
