Top Dawg Entertainment rapper Schoolboy Q held a listening party for his upcoming album last night in New York City. The event was thrown by Top Dawg Entertainment who featured it live on their Snapchat. DJ Meka took care of playing the music and Schoolboy hosted the party alongside Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg.
Schoolboy cracked jokes the entire night and danced and sang to nearly every song, voicing his thoughts and reasoning behind each of the 17 tracks. He also mentioned feelings of frustration about the song “Overtime” which features Miguel and Justine Skye stating that the label made him put a “bootleg” version of “Studio” on the album.
The album is definitely one of his best yet and contains features from a host of different artists including, Kanye West, Future, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, E-40, Andersoon Paak, and many more. The album is set to drop on July 8th.
