Kamaiyah Keeps It 90s in Her “Playa In Me” Visual


When you hear the name Kamaiyah, you know her bars and concepts speak volumes. This year we had the pleasure of seeing the West Coast hip-hop princess on the cover of XXL and getting sponsored by Sprite, but what made us fall in love with her was her bars. On her debut album A Good Night in the Ghetto, we witnessed the MC talk about having options, keeping it player, being care-free, the Hoochie Hotline, and entering the life of the lavish. In general, we often hear male rappers talk about their player ways, but recently Kamaiyah stepped in to give her own perspective and have the last word. Earlier this week, the rapper dropped a visual for her song “Playa In Me” from her 10-track Before I Wake mixtape that she released just last Tuesday. The visual features the rapper living her best life, drinking Moet in 90’s fashio, and flexing on the ones that once flexed on her.
