Netflix’s ‘Girlboss’ Has Us Hooked Already With Its Debut Trailer

Britt Robertson is completely unrecognizable in the trailer for Netflix’s Girlboss. The twenty-six year old actress stars in the role of Sophia Amoroso, the founder of Nasty Gal and NY Times best selling author of the book #Girlboss–which the series is based on. With the quirky city of San Francisco as its backdrop, the show chronicles Sophia’s road to riches and success from thrift shops to ebay, and finally the unveiling of her own web store. Like any woman who makes history, the path is not without tribulations, tears, mortifying comedy and the stubborness to never fold.

We’ve been waiting for this one to hit the ‘net for awhile and will be posted on the couch–wine in hand–for its premiere on April 21st.

Will you? Catch the trailer below and let us know!

About

When she's not getting lost in fantastical worlds with the fictional characters she writes, Tia tends to lead something of a normal life. She enjoys the hours of her day by sifting through comics at her local comic book shop, blogging as a pop culture analyst, writing multicultural fantasy, watching "Tangled" and One Direction videos on repeat with her toddler, playing air guitar to Thin Lizzy, connecting life with '90s film quotes and finding new ways to sneak a bite of pizza when she knows she shouldn't.
