In closing out Women’s History Month, Electric Circus hosted an epic after work mixer titled ‘Me, Myself, and I‘– celebrating the unconventional artistry and beauty of women creatives. On Wednesday, Mar. 29, NYC’s finest and flyest invaded the Ace Hotel for a night filled with unity and good vibes.
With the bubbly overflowing, courtesy of Babe Rosé, men and women from all walks of life were invited to sip the night away as they took in the sounds of Mistervacation and Shy Daughter. From early-millennium staples like Rich Boy’s “Throw Some D’s” to current jams, party goers were taken on a musical journey as they worked up a sweat on the dance floor.
Throughout the course of the evening, guests were also able to help themselves to wellness and beauty tips courtesy of head babe in charge, Vashtie.
From trusting your intuition to the importance of beauty rest, Vashtie shared gems in handwritten notes sealed with a purple kiss.
Vashite was also joined by DJ and socialite Kitty Cash, who served up looks and kept the energy flowing all night long. In partnership with Electric Circus, Kitty shared a preview of her forthcoming project ‘I AM WOMAN’ .
In honor of Women’s History Month, Kitty curated a special mix honoring women trailblazers in music. The mix spotlights Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Brandy, Aaliyah and more.
“To me, celebrating Women’s History Month was more about honoring the woman that I am becoming and paying homage to the women of influence,” Kitty told Buzzfeed about the project.
“I wanted to highlight songs that took me through a specific journey of my womanhood, whilst challenging and bring awareness to a few ideas that women, including myself, are constantly faced with such as: compromise, sexism, sexuality, vulnerability power, perception and success.”
