Seven time, Grammy nominated indie mogul, Chance the Rapper, has been keeping busy between creating new music with Anderson. Paak, modeling for Thank You Obama and spending precious daddy-daughter time with his daughter, Kinsley. He’s even dropped a few tips for doing your baby’s hair without hurting them! But being an amazing dad and a budding model doesn’t keep him from his artistry, as he just released a new video via Facebook live for “Same Drugs” from his debut album, Coloring Book.
The video begins as an intimate, one on one piano session with Chance and one of his puppets from the Magnificent Coloring World Tour. The version of “Same Drugs” used for this video is the alternate version that features Eryn Allen Kane, John Legend and more. What starts as an intimate performance suddenly turns cold as Chance gets up and walks through the production studio sadden by the change of relationship. As he walks through the puppet-production crew continue to do their jobs, allowing Chance to have his moment of sadness.
Catch the new video for “Same Drugs” below and look out for Chance performing on the 59th Grammy Awards Ceremony!
