Gucci Mane couldn’t hold onto his second post-prison release, Woptober, any longer and released the album three days ahead of it’s anticipated 10/17 date. Gucci is continuing to deliver some of the best bars of his career on this project reflecting on the man that he has become after serving 24 months in prison. On the album, he reflects deeply on his drug addiction and the life it almost cost him. The tone of the project is honest and raw in a way that we haven’t heard from him in a while. There’s more to his life than the cars, clothes and glamour that comes with being a hip-hop giant and we hear Gucci making this realization on this album.
Aside from assists from Rick Ross and Young Dolph, La Flare goes on this journey alone and arrives more determined than ever.
After giving the album a few listens this weekend we’ve picked “Bling Blaww Burr” as our track of the day. Produced by Atlanta superproducer, Metro Boomin, Gucci and Young Dolph floss in a way that only former trappers know how.
“Bling Blaww Burr” has given us the energy to shine without abandon this week. The album is completely free being made available on all streaming platforms and YouTube as well. Watch the video below and stream the full album.
