Chance The Rapper Turns Into Chance The Model For ‘Thank You Obama’ Clothing Line

Chance the Rapper teamed up with fellow Chicago native, Joe Fresh Goods, to design a commemorative clothing line named, Thank You Obama. The self-explanatory fashion collection was created to mark a time in history when inspiration spilled over into the United states after Barack Obama won, not one, but two Presidential terms. The clothing line coincides with the art collection that originally launched on January 20th.

“The night Obama won his first term gave me so much hope, especially & most importantly as a black man. I decided to make a collection saying “thank you” and give me something to smile at every now and then when I look in the closet.” – joefresh

The collection is a mixture of hoodies, jerseys, t-shirts, and sweatshirts. Thank You Obama also includes popular urban staples–my favorite being the t-shirt with Barack and Michelle’s name and anniversary in airbrushing. Hood classic.
