Artist To Watch: FLO MILLI

If you’ve never got dressed to a Flo Milli song, we’re here to put you on. The Mobile, Alabama born singer, or better known as the  “petty queen” was spotted during NYFW and we had a chance to catch up with her as she visited a few of her favorite shows.

Flo started rapping when she saw Nicki Minaj playing on 106 & Park at 11-years-old. She spits boastful bars like “D*cks up when I walk in the party” and “I like cash and my hair to my ass,”  delivered with a “bougie” or elegant cadence that is nicely complimented with heavy bass and melodic pianos. It’s obvious what kind of energy she’s bringing, the confidence that comes with a bad b*tch mentality. Similar to her idol, however, she’s making her own lane with tracks like “Beef Flomix” and “In The Party.”

In between shows she presented a chill down to earth personality asking everyone their zodiac signs. This balance is essential and greatly needed in the rap game. When asked how she deals with roadblocks within the industry by Vickis View, she replied “Never feel like it’s not a way to win. Don’t let anything stop you.” At only 19, she already gained a great following with only three singles the latest “My Attitude”  just dropped February 17th, 2020. Whether it’s catching a look or rapping about her greatness Flo Milli definitely shines and is no doubt an artist to watch!
