The Complete H&M x Kenzo Lookbook Is Finally Here

Back in July, fashion enthusiasts and others alike got a taste of the forthcoming Kenzo x H&M collection as Chance the Rapper, Iman, and Suboi sported the eclectic designs for a Jean-Paul Goude ad campaign. But for those of us still eager to see all the magic that designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon had cooked up, the wait is (finally) over. The collaboration’s full lookbook is now available, chock-full of vibrant palettes, cozy separates, and statement pieces.

The technicolor animal prints aside, Lim and Leon assembled a diverse global cast to model the bold fall/winter capsule collection. Among the select group of creatives are writer and activist Amy Sall, photographer Youngjun Koo, artist and DJ Juliana Huxtable, musician and performance artist Oko Ebombo, fashion editor Harriet Verney, makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench, artist Ingrid, musician Anna of the North, model and rapper Le1f.

“They’re people we admire, icons in their own fields, people who are influential beyond their fashion sensibility,” Leon told over the summer.

As for the collection itself, it is a merging of the old Kenzo and the new Kenzo.

The idea is to celebrate where Kenzo Takada began and where we’ve taken it—not only the archive of what he did but what we’ve worked on,” Leon explained.

In addition to the cold-weather appropriate ready-to-wear coats and scarves, the collection includes a wide range of accessories: visor sunglasses, totes that look like Kenzo shopping bags, elbow-length gloves, flat brims, beanies, cross-body bags, sock boots, and much more. The price list has yet to be released, but there is clearly something for everyone looking to score a piece of the Japanese designer when the collaboration hits H&M stores and online on November 3.

Take a look at all the womenswear pieces from the Kenzo x H&M collection that we can’t wait to get our hands on, below:
