Complex’s ‘Don’t Believe The Hype’ Examines ‘Damn’ and ‘More Life’

Last month, the “Champagne Papi” commonly known as Drake gave us More Life which consisted of 23 tracks ranging with features from KanyeYoung ThugSampha and Jorgia Smith. Once it dropped, it was the topic of conversation for the Patwa, the variety he gave us, and its overall pros and cons. I’m sure we’ve all been guilty of playing “Passionfruit,” “Teenage Fever,” and “Sacrifices” back to back, but of course when there’s new flame, we run to it naturally.

King Kendrick  has made us all say DAMN with his 14 feature-lite tracklisting. Some were satisfied, while others weren’t. With that being said, Complex’s weekly series “Don’t Believe the Hype” took a closer glimpse at both of the albums to find which album is applause-worthy and which, if at all, is  just pure hype.

Peep their latest comparison below and give us your take! Which album do you think deserves the hype?
