Happy 25th Anniversary to Juice


Twenty-five years ago we were given a classic that we all love and even binge watch heavily on Netflix, “Juice”. The Ernest Dickerson film (who also collaborated with Spike Lee on “Do The Right Thing” back in 89′) not only exposed us to hip hop culture but also filled our minds with plenty of plot twists. From a group of friends from Harlem wanting to earn their neighborhood’s respect to Bishop(played by Tupac Shakur) taking out Raheem, Steel, and eventually even attempting to kill on GQ, played by Omar Epps.

While GQ goes on to multiple DJ competitions to  place himself onto a different path, Bishop refuses to let GQ’s placement in the group go unnoticed without a consequence. Just when you think Bishop is indestructible, Q proves just how fearless he is to stop the cycle only to become a person he can barely even recognize. In the end, how far will you go to get it ?
