Whether it be his music from the Dipset era, pink furs, or his legendary roll in Paid In Full, you can’t ignore Cam’ron‘s influence. Harlem’s “Killa Cam” was apart of legendary east coast collective rap groups like Children of The Corn, Dipset (or the Diplomats) to Us Now.
In 1998, the rapper debuted his first solo album Confessions of Fire which went gold. In the coming years Cam would sign to Roc-a-fella Records, have his third studio alum go platinum as well as go on to sell four more albums. Til this day, when you hear “Oh Boy” ( his highest Billboard chart single), you feel like your KIA is a Lambo and your cubic zirconium’s are pink diamonds .
Within his music career, he also managed to flourish in the film industry with his acting in Paid In Full to directing his own movie for his album Killa Season in 2006. Since then, Cam has collabed with Stance Socks as well as Reebok. For us millennials, we will not only remember him for his musical gems in the industry, but also for being a fashion killa with no limits.
