LIFE: DJ’ING For Tommy Hilfiger “Staycation” Rooftop Pool Party

Yesterday Vashtie and the VDC Team had the pleasure of attending Tommy Hilfiger “Staycation” rooftop pool party at The Williamsburg Hotel from noon until 7 p.m. Lines wrapped around the corner with people in bathing suits and towels ready to enter this event so you know it was a big deal. Vashtie set was from 12:00-3:00 and let me tell you, everyone enjoyed themselves. Vashtie played “Big Ole Freak” by Meg Thee Stallion of course because it’s still a hot girl summer accompanied by throwbacks that we still love like “Aunt Jackie” and “Chicken Noodle Soup” to get the party hype!

The retail pop-up gift shop sold Tommy Hilfiger items such as:

  • Straw Fedora Hat – $69.50
  • Wraparound Skirt & pouch – $59.50
  • Bikini Bottoms – $49.50
  • Bikini Top – $45.50
  • Backpack – $99.50
  • Swim Trunks – $69.50
  • Pool Slides – $49.50
  • Tie-Dye T-Shirt – $30.00

In addition, there was also unisex sunglasses, tie-dye socks and towels available for purchase. There was also a roaming Polaroid photographer and station, and synchronized swimmer performance by the Aqualillies later on in the day. The Tommy Spa opened at noon which featured a nail art station where you could add a pop of color to your nails with complimentary Tommy Hilfiger-inspired nail art provided by Paintbucket, a modern nail shop based in Brooklyn, a chair massage station where you could relax with a complimentary 15 minute massage provided by Spa Chicks On the Go, a face massage station where you could experience a mild yet forceful EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) to the face provided by FaceGym to strengthen the muscles in your face by visibly lifting, toning and tightening your face in 10 minutes! Cold refreshments were served from Pressed Juicery, Guayaki Yerba Mate, as well as Gummy Vitamins and Collagen Water from HUM Nutrition.

The pop-up is apart of Hilfiger’s focus on personalized, hyperlocalized events created for next-gen consumers.
