This is What You Should be Wearing on Christmas

The countdown is officially on for the biggest day of the year, Christmas! The tree is up, the gifts are on the way, and we’re checking off one Hallmark Christmas movie per day. All that’s left to plan is how exactly you plan to slay on Christmas morning. Whether your family prefers to open gifts upon waking or wait until after Christmas Day festivities, we’ve covered the most common gift unwrapping styles.

If you’re like most people, you probably go to sleep on Christmas Eve thinking about what is under the tree. There is no way you’re dressing for the day BEFORE opening your gifts. If you’re attacking the tree in your pajamas, just make sure they are cute and festive.

Family Pajamas

There are some family traditions that we wish would die; matching Christmas pajamas is not one of them. While they may be overly festive and sometimes unappealing, nothing symbolizes love more than looking silly together.

Christmas Casual

If your family prefers to open gifts after the Christmas parade, take it as an extra opportunity to play dress up! Adding your ugly Christmas sweater to a basic bottom always works. Extra points for Christmas inspired tights!

Evening Dress

If you like dressing over the top for events, Christmas Day is one of the only times you can get away with it. Whether you’re hosting a party, or home with family, a lavish evening dress is fitting for the occasion.

Happy Holidays!
