Although Wikipedia says “The single failed to chart on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100,” I remember Kelis’ “Good Stuff” track with Pusha T this being the jam in 1999.
Not only that, but the young Harlem native was quite mesmerizing. She was the first brown girl, that I can remember, to be edgy and eclectic. With her rainbow colored hair and rocker style, Kelis’s R&B/Pop sound was a major breath of fresh air.
