Designer prints, colored chameleon-like bath robes, and glitch-art type transitions? Wow. A$AP Mob always brings forth amazing, polarizing music videos, but the newly liberated “Yamborghini High” visual completely catapults into the group’s Top 5 best visuals ever.
The Coogi-printed room — also featuring a cameo from Miss Tati (mother of the late great A$AP Yams), made this video beautiful from the opening. The clip serves as a huge tribute to the life and legacy of the late A$AP member, even featuring an amazing scene of various Lamborghinis swangin’ and swervin’ down the road in classic Houston, Texas fashion.
Not to be outdone, the video ends with with A$AP Illz dressed as A$AP Yams atop of a white horse, which transforms into a unicorn. Truly amazing and heartwarming.
Yams is definitely missed by The Mob, and culture as a whole. The video is a testament to his influence, from the cozy sweatsuits, the colorful robes, the Coogi print, as well subtle reference to old-school 90s aesthetics such as camouflage and the amazing shot of Rocky eating a bowl of cereal like Jim Jones in the “Certified Gangstas” video.
