Halloween is right around the corner and we already know it’s Vashtie’s favorite holiday. To celebrate, not only are we throwing a Halloween edition of the 1992 party, but we’re cozying up to watch a few scary movies with a bottle of vegan wine. Now, if scary isn’t your thing, we totally understand, but for those not afraid of the dark, here are five Halloween movies available on Netflix.
A classic fly on the wall style movie that shows what really happens when the lights turn off. Follow along through three films that provide different endings as Katie and Micah attempt to enjoy their new house in San Diego. Katie notices an evil presence has been following her since she was a child, so Micah sets up a camera to capture any activity that may occur and this is what they saw.
Truth Or Dare
We all know the game truth or dare right? The majority of us just choose truth, but this 2018 movie provided a bit of dare. Students Olivia Barron, Markie Cameron, Lucas Moreno, Penelope Amari, Tyson Curran, and Brad Chang all plan a trip to Mexico. After a new (seemingly) nice guy Carter gets Olivia out of a sticky situation, she ends up forced to play a game of Truth or Dare for their lives. With supernatural influence, the game gets spooky quick. Now tell us, Truth or Dare?
Ever wonder what would happen if all crime was legal? The Purge explores this notion by allowing citizens to conduct all crime for 12 hours without any punishment. The streets get crazy, lives are lost, and it makes most wonder, is this survivable? Let us know what you think.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
We all remember watching episodes of Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Either you watched it as a cartoon or the actor’s version, Sabrina’s life was pretty cool. On the Netflix series of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, you can watch Sabrina deal with her half-witch, half-mortal life. While evil forces constantly threaten her friends and family, Sabrina won’t let it happen.
Before I Wake
If you’re afraid of the dark, the movie may not be for you. Foster parents Jessie and Mark took in Cody, an 8-year-old boy into their home. Cody constantly tells his parents that he’s afraid to close his eyes, but at eight, they assumed he was afraid of the dark. After being spooked by seeing Cody’s biological dad in the living room, they knew they had to prepare to protect their son. His dreams effortlessly came to life, but so dd his nightmares.
